Mostly I'm using underline as books I own but haven't gotten to yet.

I've had classes for a week now, hurrah? Really the exact opposite of hurrah, I don't exactly like school. I don't hate it, but it isn't my favorite place to be.

I've been spending most of my time obsessing over The Divine Comedy. I'll talk about that later when I unpack a way to scan my silly doodles. For the most part, the books are about hell, and they go something like this.

DANTE: Look at that fearsomely described hellcreature.
FEARSOME HELLBEAST: YOU SHALL NOT PASS! RAR.
DANTE: Whimper!
VIRGIL: Get out of our way, we have special permission.
FEARSOME HELLBEAST: Well, okay then.
Dante faints

I keep waiting for this formula to change, for something like this to happen.

FEARSOME HELLBEAST: YOU SHALL NOT PASS! RAR.
VIRGIL: Get out of our way, we have special permission.
FEARSOME HELLBEAST: Nice try, but I'm an irrational demon. I enjoy eating things, especially poets.
DANTE: OH SAVE ME MASTER!
VIRGIL: IS VIRGIL GONNA HAVE TO CHOKE A BITCH?!
Pimp slapping of hellspawn ensues.

Note that I came thisclose to actually saying "Is Virgil gonna have to choke a bitch?!" my first day of conference, but luckily avoided the temptation. Now I'm on Purgatory, which is basically the same except with sunlight and Virgil not stopping to ask for directions.
