So I'm back, and my computer is fixed, which means now I can chat with people without any repercussions!! Except the usual subdual damage to sanity, ah hah hah. So soon there will be a contact post, and it will be fun.

Bad news is, my entire harddrive had to be wiped. I saved my thesis files, but not much else, so it will probably be a while before I'm really up and running on the online front. BUT. I have fanfic drabbles for people that I originally wrote down in a notebook. DUN DUN DUN.

In other news, Final Fantasy IV DS has an American release set for July 22, and the next Phoenix Wright game will feature a certain pink-suited prosecutor. My life is pretty much golden. Also, I went to the comic store yesterday and picked up the latest Green Lantern in addition to all the random titles I usually read, out of a desire to read at least one mainstream DC comic and also because karenjeane had good things to say. I liked it enough that I'm gonna pick up the next one and see what happens from there.

So, as you know me, you might know that they're releasing a sequel to Final Fantasy IV featuring the adventures of Ceodore, Cecil and Rosa's son and very possibly the least masculine child ever. Many of the old cast members are returning, despite the original game's abysmal death rate, and some of them will be wearing their underwear!! It'll also only be available on fancy Japanese cell phones because that's just how the Artists Formerly Known as Squaresoft roll.

But guess what else? Kain's back!!

The thing about this, though, is if you remember, Kain had one of those great ambiguous endings because he was this great ambiguous character. We never got to see if his hero's journey ended in success or failure, and that was kinda the way I wanted it. Luckily, fanfiction.net, as ever, comes to the rescue.

In other news: Valkyrie Profile for DS! Jimmy Olsen vs Darkseid: now with bonus KAMEHAMEA action? It is a good time to be me. I have also determined to get a PSP pretty much just so I can play the fancier, shinier version of Final Fantasy Tactics. Squaresoft used "Spiffy Cutscenes" on wild terra. It's super effective!

Zen Question: when Ashley Riot rearranges his living room, does all his furniture go back to the original configuration when he leaves the room?

Lightbringer has three new affiliates, as well as a new, mostly incoherent, section about Cecil's general importance to the Final Fantasy series.

Streaks of Day's link page has cheesily been updated so that Lightbringer is in the links section. Cleaned out the links a bit too.

Elements of Fantasy is now affiliated with the Mogget fanlisting. Also, it recently hit the 25 member milestone. Go go Garth Nix!

All new affiliates have shiny new linking buttons of some sort, as vaguely promised.

I spent a lot of the day trying to figure out how to work radio.blog again. This time I was sucessful. The bad news is all my music files are in the absolute wrong format and getting them out of said format will be really difficult. But one day I do hope to have music sections at some of my sites.

As a side effect of using my PC to work radio blog, I discovered a problem in the CSS at this livejournal, which I've since corrected. Sort of. I've been getting lazier and lazier with coding. Mmm, I also noticed some other things that I'm going to work on fixing around the domain.

And look! I drew Locke and colored him in all fancy-like. For some reason his handwriting is the same as Jane Austen's.

Yes, I finally finished Lightbringer, a kind of mini-shrine to Cecil. There were none, and that's sad. Now my domain is crazy full of Final Fantasy IV goodness. I'm getting it all out of the way before I go crazy with Final Fantasy XII which I am convinced is going to rock hard. And there's no way I'm going to play that game without being inspired to make a site of some sort.

Anyway, Lightbringer. Affiliate requests are greatly needed. Also, if you, uh, happen to have Cecil icons lying around, you should donate them to me.

Currently plugging misproject and it's spiffy FFXIIness. Everything there is redone like whoa, though of special interest to me is Schism, a completely revamped Cloud shrine, and the brand new uber-spiffy Mogget shrine. This is what everyone should do, make Old Kingdom fansites. Now I should go off to practice what I preach...
